One Month of Presently You

A Dream in Bloom

On August 2, 2025, I clicked 'publish' on my very first blog post. I was unsure how it would feel to share my words like this only knowing it was a dream I had quietly held for years, waiting for the right moment to blossom.

And now, a month later, I am here.

I didn’t get the chance to properly celebrate this milestone amidst the busyness of life, but I want to take a moment to acknowledge it, breathe it in, and honor the fact that I’ve kept going. That alone feels worth celebrating.

This space, Presently You, has been more than just a project for me. It has been a healing journey, a return to my inner child’s dreams—the little girl who loved to write, imagine, tell stories, and dream out loud. I am proud of her, and I am proud of myself for choosing to nurture this seed even on the days when life feels heavy.

I’ll be honest: it hasn’t always been easy. Balancing this dream with the demands of my job sometimes leaves me stretched thin. But even in the busyness, I keep coming back. Even when I feel behind, I remind myself that consistency isn’t about perfection and it’s about showing up. It’s about showing up, little by little, and trusting that each post is a drop of water for the seed I’m planting.

During my trip to California, I felt a burst of inspiration, a surge of creativity that reminded me why I began this journey. New ideas started to flow, and I can’t wait to share them with you soon. Presently You is just getting started, and there’s much more on the horizon.

To my readers: thank you for being here during these first steps. Your presence means more than I can express. Here’s to more words, more reflections, and more dreams unfolding—one post, one seed, one moment at a time.

Always dreaming,
Deja
